Creating landing pages in minutes

There are many times when a company needs a landing page to showcase a product, promote an event, or represent the brand. These pages are often straightforward in content but need to look polished to reflect the company well. Historically, the options have been limited: either ask a software developer to build a custom page or use a templated tool like Squarespace or Webflow, which can be challenging and time-consuming for non-technical users.

Introducing Lovable

Lovable is a tool that lets you create a webpage simply by writing a prompt. You describe what you want the page to include, and Lovable generates it instantly, giving you the ability to refine and iterate until it looks right. It works like an on-demand landing page builder designed to match your exact needs. Let's break it down…

  1. Prompt specific requirements for your landing page.

Once we create an account, we can prompt a specific page to get started. When dealing with Lovable (or any AI tool), we should be as specific as we can. Here's a prompt we will feed in (I actually used ChatGPT to help generate it!):

Create a modern, visually appealing landing page for Candy Mania, a premium candy and chocolate company located in Chocolate Town, USA. The page should feature:

    • Hero section with a bold headline: “Handcrafted Happiness in Every Bite” and a subheadline about premium chocolate, confections, and lollipops. Include a large background image of assorted chocolates and candy. Add a clear call-to-action button: “Shop Now.”

    • About Us section with a short description of Candy Mania’s story and commitment to quality ingredients and craftsmanship. Use warm, inviting language.

    • Product showcase section divided into three categories: Premium Chocolate, Confections, and Lollipops. Each should have an image, short description, and a button that links to more details.

    • Testimonials section with 2–3 customer reviews emphasizing the taste, quality, and joy Candy Mania brings.

    • Call-to-action section encouraging visitors to sign up for the newsletter with a simple form (name + email) and a headline like “Get Sweet Deals Straight to Your Inbox.”

    • Footer with links to social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), company contact info, and a copyright notice.

Design notes: Use a playful but premium color palette (deep chocolate brown, soft cream, candy pink, and gold accents). Include high-quality candy imagery throughout. The overall tone should feel indulgent, fun, and trustworthy.

It will take a few minutes to spin this up, but we will have our new site! Undoubtedly, there will still be errors and we will correct them!

  1. Refine, refine, refine

We can prompt changes directly in the "Ask Lovable" but I prefer to use the "Edit" feature as I'm refining.

We can select specific elements and then prompt changes. For example, the contrast on this button should be greater. We'll change it to black.

  1. Customize with your own info and pictures

With Lovable, you are not limited to generic templates. You can tailor everything to match your company’s identity. Start by replacing placeholder text with your own information, such as your company name, team details, and key HR resources. You can also swap in your own images, whether that is your company logo, branded graphics, or team photos, so the final product feels consistent with the rest of your employee communications.

If your company already has a design library or brand guidelines, Lovable makes it easy to align with those assets. Upload logos, adjust color schemes, and add imagery that reflects your culture. This level of customization ensures that when employees interact with your HR materials, they immediately recognize them as part of your brand. This helps build trust and reinforces consistency across all touchpoints.

  2. Editing code directly

For those comfortable with code, you can also edit it directly, which gives you full control over the site’s design and functionality. You can access this in the Code tab, where you will find a file tree that allows you to view and update the underlying files that power your site. To unlock this feature, you will need to upgrade to the paid plan.

So What

Lovable makes landing page creation accessible to anyone, no matter their technical background. Instead of waiting on developers or struggling with complex design tools, you can generate a professional, branded page in minutes, then refine and customize it as needed. The result is faster launches, more flexibility for teams, and polished pages that reflect your brand without draining time or resources.
